Taghleef Industries at CFIA 2026: Showcasing Circular Packaging Solutions in Rennes

Taghleef Industries brought its latest film innovations to CFIA 2026 in Rennes, presenting brands and converters with solutions built around three strategic pillars: bio-based materials, recycled content, and enhanced recyclability.
At the centre of the stand was the NATIVIA® range, recently expanded and with a renewed identity. Made from biodegradable, biobased polymers, the films were displayed alongside recycled-content solutions designed to help brands meet emerging regulatory targets and sustainability commitments. Visitors also had the chance to explore Taghleef’s portfolio of recyclability-enhanced packaging and labelling solutions, developed to simplify recycling within existing waste streams and strengthen circular performance.
“At CFIA 2026, we’re highlighting how thoughtful material design and collaborative innovation can bring real added value to packaging, protecting products, enabling efficient industrial processes, and supporting circularity goals,” said Francesca Marcatti, Taghleef Industries’ France Market Manager. “We’re focused on developing solutions that meet immediate market needs while anticipating regulatory change and evolving consumer expectations around sustainability.“
A highlight of the event was Taghleef’s keynote session on 12 March, which presented a case study on mono-material films for yoghurt pot sleeves. Developed in collaboration with Emsur’s innovation centre, the project demonstrated how Taghleef’s thermoformable PP film, LFG, can replace conventional sleeves to create a fully polypropylene pot structure, improving recyclability and reducing environmental impact. The session covered technical performance, printability, and how mono-material approaches support the industry’s shift toward circular economy targets.
Through these presentations, Taghleef Industries continued its work with packaging professionals to challenge conventional structures and adopt film technologies that balance performance with sustainability, reinforcing the company’s role in shaping the future of circular packaging.
