Challenge
The main challenge in this scenario, lies in effectively combining superior protection, optimized packaging performance and improved recyclability within a single solution, in particular for more sensitive materials as powder supplements in which high barriers are critical.
Solution
To address these needs Taghleef, in collaboration with Packstyle, proposed a PP-based stand-up pouch based on the EXTENDO® XZMU technology.
This solution successfully integrates ultra-high barrier performance with the sustainability advantages of PP material structures, representing a highly efficient alternative to conventional, low-recyclable multi-material triplex laminates.
