Challenge

Bath salt powders are hygroscopic by nature — they draw moisture from the air aggressively, causing clumping,fragrance loss, and degraded appearance long before the product reaches the consumer. The stand-up pouch format is ideal for this category — resealable, shelf-stable, and retail-friendly but achieving the barrier levels required has typically meant falling back on foil-based laminates that are difficult to recycle and increasingly out of step with where the wellness industry is heading.
