Taghleef Industries presents EXTENDO ® XFWM at CFIA

Taghleef Industries gives importance on product protection, packaging performance and sustainability. As one of the top global producers of packaging films, Ti has developed and is continuously innovating sustainable solutions that offer significant improvements to current packaging structures.

With product offerings that are proven and ideal to replace traditional structures, Taghleef Industries will be presenting its latest developments that are in line with the principles of the Circular Economy in the upcoming CFIA.

One of the novelties Taghleef is proud to present during the show is the EXTENDO® XFWM (formerly known as D729), a transparent BOPP High Barrier film ideal for horizontal and vertical flow wrap of dry products, biscuits, chocolate, snacks and confectionery. Thanks to its superior mineral oils, aroma, flavor, moisture and oxygen barriers, the film guarantees an excellent product protection that ensures freshness of food, extension of shelf life and reduction of food waste.

Furthermore, EXTENDO® XFWM is a chlorine-free solution designed to replace PVDC/ Acrylic coated films that contributes to packaging optimization and answers to brand owners’ need for a recyclable and sustainable packaging that stands out on the shelf.

EXTENDO® is the next generation range of High Barrier films specifically designed to meet the Circular Economy requirements, coupled with outstanding performance and superior food protection. EXTENDO® solutions are committed to deliver lower environmental impact compared to traditional packaging structures, as certified by independent LCA studies and recyclers’ organizations for real market applications.
